This questionnaire seeks to gather information about the challenges that employers in the private and public sectors face when attempting to employ refugees. It is an important part of a wider EPC project looking at the role of employers in the integration of refugees into the labour market. The project seeks to improve national and EU institutions' understanding of employers' needs and identify ways in which to improve EU efforts to increase refugee employment. The information collected through this questionnaire and discussions with stakeholders will feed into a publication that will be presented at a public event in Brussels.
Please note that for this questionnaire, refugees are defined as third-country nationals who have been granted a residence permit for the purpose of international protection in the host country. This includes both full refugee status as well as subsidiary protection status. It does not include asylum-seekers who have not yet been granted status, nor unsuccessful asylum-seekers who do not qualify for a residence permit for the purpose of international protection. It also excludes third-country nationals with other types of residence permits, such as for work, study or family reunification.
Target recipients: public and private sector employers and employment agencies
