Press & Industry Screenings Volunteers
As a Press & Industry Screenings Volunteer you will help welcome press, industry and filmmaker guests at our press and industry screenings. You will check and scan delegate passes and assist the press and industry teams. You will have several breaks during the day while the films are playing.
For this role you will need to be available during the day, including weekdays.
Venue Volunteers
The festival takes place across several venues, and we need volunteers at these venues to welcome our visitors, provide customer service and front-of-house assistance, put up festival signage and assist our Venue Coordinators in the smooth running of all our screenings.
Typically, volunteers arrive on site around 5pm and leave around 11pm, although at weekends we also need volunteers who can help from midday to 5pm.
Events & Hospitality Volunteers
The events and hospitality teams organise festival screen talks, club nights, parties and more. As a volunteer helping these teams you would help set up for these events, assist with guest lists and drinks service at festival venues.
Festival runners
Festival runners do a variety of tasks including packing delegate and guest bags, fetching and carrying items, laminating signs and generally helping the festival team.
Education Volunteers
The LFF Education programme brings students, young people and children into the heart of the festival, by offering special morning screenings of festival films, opportunities to meet a wide range of film professionals and the chance to get involved in free or low cost projects, workshops and events.
For this role you will need to be available mornings 09:00-13:00 as events for schools/colleges are mainly during the daytime.
