You must be aged between 21 and 75 years old and have possessed a full current driving licence for at least 2 years.with no more than 3 penalty Points and be medically fit to the standards required under a D1 Licence
This Community scheme is running within a section 19 licence and is not for profit.
You will need to produce your original driving licence (not a copy), and confirm that you are medically fit to drive. Once your appliation is accepted by the Host You will need to apply for Your Blue lamp Course Here,You can pay the requested course fee of £87 and reclaim it from Rolvenden Parish Council We will also contact you to fill in the required CRB Check Forms
PROCEDURE FOR COLLECTING AND PARKING THE MINIBUS AT ROLVENDEN VILLAGE HALL
The minibus is intentionally parked at an angle due to its length to provide maximum space for other Pedestrians and vehicles using The Village Hall.
IT IS THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THE VEHICLE IS LEGAL BEFORE SETTING OFF
1) remove the barrier Cones and chain.Drive out and ,If required, park your own vehicle in the minibus space until your return,replace the chain and cones and drive to the front of the Village Hall and park safely to collect passengers.
2)When returning please carefully reverse the vehicle into its original position after first removing the cones and your own vehicle. fill in the log Book as required,Lock the vehicle and check all doors and windows are secure.Replace the cones and chain.
3) The Village Hall is in constant use and under no circumstances are passengers permitted to Park their vehicles in the village hall car park or use the facilities without prior permission
