  • The Perse Prep Registration Form

  • We are delighted you wish to register your child for a place at The Perse Prep School.

Please ensure you read the Admissions Policy before completing the registration form.

Unfortunately the form cannot be saved and returned to at a later date, so if you close your browser before you have completed the form, the information you have entered will be lost.

Any fields marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory, and you will need to have copies (scans or pictures) of your child's passport (or birth certificate) and visa details (share code, or both sides of a BRP) ready to attach in order to complete the form.

You can make the text larger on the screen by pressing 'Ctrl +', and 'Ctrl –' pressed together will make the font size smaller.

If you have any technical problems you can contact us on helpdesk@perse.co.uk. If you have any admissions policy or process questions contact prep@perse.co.uk. Or call 01223 403922 to speak to Elinor Schneider in Admissions.

We look forward to receiving your application.

  • The Perse is a day school and pupils should live within reasonable commuting distance of the School (usually defined as within 1 hour travelling time). If you currently live outside of the School’s catchment, please explain below how you will meet our residency requirements.

  • Confidential Information

The information requested on this form is needed because the School has contractual and statutory duties towards your child. For more information about how the School will use your information, and your child's information, please see the privacy notices available on the website. The information provided in this section will enable the School to safeguard your child when they are on school site and to consider any reasonable adjustments that it may need to make to assist your child to partake in the admissions procedure and when assessing candidates, or when they enter the School - how best to support their wellbeing and education should they become a pupil.

The School shall determine the reasonable adjustments or access arrangements that are required in the Perse Entrance Assessments for the applicant based on the information in this section and in consultation with the Head of Learning Support. Any relevant information should be provided at least two weeks before attending entrance assessments. Late requests will not be accepted, except in the case of recent injury.

  • Help with fees

We suggest you visit the Help with Fees page to learn more about our bursary scheme. This is only available to applicants for Year 6 and above. All applications for The Pelican school, and in Years 3-5 at The Prep will be for a full fee paying place.

If you are applying for a Year 6 place, and you request help with fees, you will be asked to complete a detailed statement of financial circumstances form, and a home visit will be arranged. The bursary assessment process is handled separately from the admissions process.

Please note: The School does not usually consider bursary applications from families who, at the time of registration, live outside a reasonable travelling distance to the School (defined as within one hour’s travelling time). Families who live outside this area but who wish to be considered for bursary funding for a Year 6 place should contact the School Accountant on bursary-application@perse.co.uk to discuss their particular circumstances.

  • The Bursary Department will contact you and invite you to submit detailed financial circumstances information (and support documents) via our online bursary portal.

If you have not heard from the Department one week before the entrance assessments, please contact the Bursary on 01223 403800.

Please let us know below which email address we should use to contact you about this bursary application.

  • Declarations:

Please read and tick each statement to complete your registration.

  • Thank you for completing this registration form, a copy of which will be emailed to you. When you click submit, please do not close the window until payment screen displays, as it may take a few moments for your form to be processed.

You will then be transferred to the payment screen to make payment of the registration fee, which is the final step required to submit your application. The registration fee reflects the costs incurred by the School in administering the admissions process before the offer of a place is made and is non-refundable irrespective of whether or not the registered child attends the entrance tests.

Please ensure that the child’s surname and year group they are applying for is quoted as a reference so that the payment can be matched to their application. Failure to do so may delay your application (e.g. Y3Smith, Y5Brown).
