Our UK Head Office is located in Maidstone, Kent and employs a small team of permanent managers and staff. We also offer an apprenticeship and management trainee scheme with opportunities across a range of disciplines including finance, business administration, sales and IT. Our office is located in one of most sought after business parks in Maidstone within easy reach of public transport and we have a lovely environment to work in with bistro, relaxing gardens for break times, private dental services and a crèche on site.
We pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide to our guests and this is reflected in the standards of our team – we are looking for people who are committed to that excellent level of service and are prepared to go that extra mile – whether that is from the sales team in the efficiency of the holiday reservation, from the back office functions who make sure the business runs smoothly or from the chalet staff who make or break the holiday.
In return, we strive to be a good company to work for – we are committed to the development of our people and as a small company we can create opportunities and be flexible to the skills and personal aspirations of individuals who are prepared to work with us to grow our business and keep it successful.
If you are an experienced person looking for a new opportunity, then we have a number of roles on offer in our list below. You would ideally need to be a skier or snowboarder yourself and have some experience in the travel industry but for certain roles this is not essential. Perhaps you've done a winter season in resort and are now looking to settle into a permanent role? Perhaps you've worked in a different area of the travel industry? Or maybe you have come from a completely different sector but have an interest in travel and think that your skills are fully transferrable. There is always "something special" that defines a successful member of our team - so if you think you have that something, then we look forward to hearing from you!
Apprenticeships and Training Schemes
Our schemes will give you the opportunity to do a “real” job – and they will all give you the chance to work towards a recognised qualification at no cost to you. The training course you will follow will be subsidised by the government grants and we will pay the rest - you will earn a starter salary while you are training, with guaranteed increases at milestones of your course, and after you complete your qualification this will increase to the level apppropriate for the position you have reached. We expect you to start contributing from your first day, to the best of your ability, and we will give you as much scope and autonomy as you prove you can handle – we believe in encouraging and pushing you to discover what you are capable of achieving. At the same time, we will be there to support you and coach you in your development - your progression in your apprenticeship and your career with us will depend on your commitment and results.
Our best and most successful staff are those who joined us at the bottom and have been developed within the business – we are a growing company with ambitious aims for the future – who knows where you will end up or what opportunities there will be in the future?
All the schemes involve a 40 hour working week – and over the course of the apprenticeship 20% of your paid working time will be allocated to training and development which may be weighted differently depending the time of the year (due to seasonal peaks in the business demands). All we need from you is 100% commitment to success – in gaining your qualification and to applying that to achieving your job objectives and becoming a permanent member of our team.
