UKATA Membership

New application to become an approved UKATA Training Provider
Membership is for companies, businesses and individuals wishing to undertake the delivery of asbestos training as a UKATA Approved Training Provider. Becoming a UKATA Approved Training Provider shows your commitment to delivering the highest standards of asbestos training.

Membership also provides an opportunity to mark a presence in the asbestos industry showing commitment and support to continued improvements in asbestos training.
Before completing this application form you must confirm below that you have read, understood and accept the UKATA Rules of Membership and relevant Syllabi. All documentation is available to download from the UKATA website www.ukata.org.uk.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
Trainer Application Form (A0113) for the directly employed trainer who will be put forward for audit. Please also upload a copy of their full CV and evidence of qualifications. Tutor criteria are defined in Item 2.4 of UKATA Rules of Membership. Please ensure your Trainer meets the criteria before submitting an application.

The training materials required as part of your application is your Non-Licensable Work with Asbestos Including NNLW presentation and any subsequent handouts and presenter notes.

This course must comply with the UKATA Syllabus for Non-Licensable Work with Asbestos Including NNLW (A0078).
The training materials required as part of your application is your New Operative presentation and any subsequent handouts and presenter notes.

This course must comply with the UKATA Syllabus for Licensable Work with Asbestos (A0096).

Upon submitting your application, your will be assigned a File Handler who will check through your submission and contact you accordingly. An invoice will be issued at this point along with details of how to pay via your preferred payment method.

Please be advised that there is a charge for Tutor Registration. Each Tutor you register will incur a cost of £100.00 + VAT and will be required to undertake the UKATA online Tutor Knowledge Test and maintain 30 CPD hours over a 3-year cycle.

As part of your application, you are only required to submit one employed trainer and therefore your invoice will reflect this charge. Additional tutors can be added once membership approved.

TRAINING PREMISES
In line with the UKATA Rules of Membership, applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have their own dedicated training centre to be able to offer this level of training, specifically practical work, as detailed in Appendix 4 of the UKATA Rules of Membership. Please provide your declaration below.

If you do not own a dedicated training centre, you will be required to complete a third party premises agreement. This will be forwarded to you by the UKATA Office upon receipt of this application.
