Rules for Admission as per the EHMA Statute
RULES FOR ENTRY
Any Member may recommend Candidates for admission. General managers or equivalent, presidents, vice-presidents, managing directors, operating owners of hotel chains, groups, and hotels of primary importance and international standing operating within Europe are eligible for election as members of the Association.
The Candidate, besides having the necessary ethical and moral qualifications, must also possess a professional background in the Hotel Industry of not less than ten years. Any period of study spent at an internationally recognized hotel school may also be considered as part of these ten years.
The Application Form, signed by two sponsoring Members and certified by a National Delegate, shall be forwarded to the Secretariat for further processing and submitted to the Management Council for definite approval. The admission will become official when the new Member attends his/her first General Meeting.
Each National Delegation shall not exceed 25% of the total of the Members with right to vote.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION
€395, set by the Management Council and adjusted annually based on the cost of living index. Payable in advance by December 31 of the preceding year. For New Members: full fee if admitted before the AGM; half fee if admitted after the AGM; no fee if admitted from September to year-end; full fee applies from the following year.
PRIVACY POLICY
By submitting and signing this application for admission to EHMA, I confirm that I have read the information provided by the European Hotel Managers Association pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), and that I have been informed of my rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the same Regulation.
I hereby authorize:
- EHMA to share my contact details with qualified third-party suppliers (EHMA official partners/sponsors) for commercial communications (by phone, or email);
- EHMA to publish my photo and contact details on its password-protected institutional website.
