'One Last Thing' photography competition
We would like you to help us open up conversations about death, dying and bereavement and capture on camera 'One Last Thing'.
Photographs are a great way to get people thinking and talking about some of the more difficult subjects we face in life.
As a society we're not that great at talking about death and dying. We're also not very good at putting plans in place for the end of our life. Did you know that only 25% of us have asked a family member about their end of life wishes?
This lack of openness means that many people don't die where and how they would like to and they don't get the care and support they need. It can also cause anxiety about the future and lead to conflict within families.
Why not take part in this 'One Last Thing' photography competition and help us get more people thinking, talking and planning.
We are organising this competition, and the subsequent online exhibition, as part of national Dying Matters Awareness Week which runs from 13th to 19th May, 2019.
