Application Process & Terms and Conditions (Read Carefully)
Step 1: Apply on the following link: https://form.jotform.com/jesfrig/Internationalstudents.
Step 2: Course Fee Payments Prior to Visa Submission: In order that the processing of an application whether formal or informal, a registration fee of Eur250 (non-refundable) shall be made to the account below through bank transfer.
Step 3: Interview: Once the application has been vetted and verified, the candidate will be invited for an online interview with the International Officer and following the outcome of that interview, the candidate shall be informed informally of his/her acceptance or non-acceptance.
Step 4: After the Informal Acceptance: The Accounts Department shall be informed to issue the invoice and the candidate shall be requested to sign:
a. Learning Agreement Digitally;
b. Instalment Contract Digitally.
Step 5: Deposit: The candidate shall make the 50% less of the 1st year of studies or the full amount of course fees if the course is less than 1 year less the Registration fee (€250). All bank charges should be borne by the candidate. Apart from the 50% fees the candidate shall pay €150 to set an appointment with VFS.
Step 6: Letter of Acceptance and Receipt of Course fees: Following the receipt of payments, the official Letter of Acceptance is sent to the candidate in soft copy and a fiscal copy of the receipt payment (statement). A fiscal receipt shall be issued to be presented to the VFS with other documents.
Step 7: Setting of Appointment for Student Visa with VFS: MLI shall apply with Identita’ for Student Visa on the proper portal to to set an appointment at the VFS centre nearest to the applicant’s town or city. A list of documents shall be provided to help the candidate in compiling all the documentation for VFS and s/he will be requested to send to the International Officer this documentation for verification before submission. In the event of having any difficulties, MLI can advise and guide the candidate through the process. Once the application for VFS has been submitted with inform Identita’ (National Agency for vetting Visas)’s Central Visa Unit, MLI shall inform them about the candidate’s application. The application should take around 8 weeks.
Step 8: Outcome on application of Student VISA: Once the candidate receives the outcome of the visa application, s/he is obliged to inform the International Officer at MLI immediately and s/he will guide the candidate for the following steps. MLI does not have any authority over the Maltese Authorities to accept and grant Visa. If the VISA is granted, the candidate needs to make the payment according to the course structure. Once MLI receives the payment, the Accounts Department will send a receipt of fees received and provide the course commencement date. The purchase of flight ticket shall take place after this step and a soft copy of the ticket shall be sent to the institute. your ticket.
Step 9. Course Fee Payments following Visa Acceptance by Identita’: Bank transfer of the Remaining Fees: To complete the remaining half of the price of the course.
1. On approval of the visa, the applicant has to pay the remaining balance of the course fees before departure.
2. The candidate has to produce a copy of the flight ticket so that airport authorities are informed beforehand. In the event, that the candidate did not inform us about the arrival and s/he is withheld at the airport either in Malta or in any other part of Europe, we would only give the go ahead to the Airport Authorities to release the candidate, subject that all fees have been paid according to this procedure.
3. In the event that candidate has received the Visa approval and has made payment of the course fees and did not arrive in Malta for whatever reason, then the courses will be considered non-refundable.
Applications shall not be processed if the candidate doesn't accept these terms and conditions.
