- Cooking workshops use fire and knives, requiring adult skills. 
- Duration of Manga workshop is over 1 hour, impossible for little kids to concentrate.

- Manga-workshops duren langer dan een uur, wat concentratieproblemen kan veroorzaken bij jongere kinderen.

If you want to eat the result without workshop, or if you look for special dining out in reasonable price, you can ask huiskamerrestaurant (private restaurant). 
The location is the room in the apartment house in Utrecht. However we take importance to real contents much more than stereotype Japanese appearance. 

Note: Due to small kitchen, it's unable to prepare different menu/course at same time. Therefore, we kindly request that 1 group orders the same menu.

A. Shojin ryori full course: 42 euro
Consists of 1 soup, 1 bowl of rice, and 10 dishes. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 2 persons. We use fine potteries and lacquerwares from Japan to offer an authentic Shojin ryori experience.
B. Shojin ryori casual course: 25 euro
Consists of 1 soup, 1 bowl of rice, and 5 dishes. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 4 persons.
C. Shojin ryori easy menu: 18 euro
Consists of 1 soup, 1 bowl of rice, and 2 dishes. Dessert plus 4 euros. Booking from 6 persons.
D. Vegan ramen, vegan Japanese curry, vegan tempura udon: 16 euro
Booking from 6 persons.
E. Dishes upon request: negotiable. Non-vegan possible. Booking from 6 persons.
F. Ryokan Meal (vegetarian, non-vegan): mackrel: 25 euros, salmon: 30 euros.
This set meal represents the breakfast served at Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn). Enjoy this as an alternative to traveling to Japan. Consists of 1 miso soup, 1 bowl of rice, Tamagoyaki, stock fish(mackerel or horse mackerel or salmon), tsukemono, Nori, Ohitashi. Booking from 4 persons. Natto is optional for 3 euros.

If you wish to order both gluten-free and regular meals in one group
Due to the size of the kitchen, it is not possible to use two types of seasonings. For example, if there are five different dishes, I would need five pans. Even if only one person eats gluten-free, I would need one regular pan and one gluten-free pan for each dish, which means I need double the amount of pans and effort. Therefore, I kindly ask you to choose for all guests to eat gluten-free. I use gluten-free soy sauce and miso, which have the same taste as the regular versions. So the taste of the dishes will be the same, whether they are gluten-free or not. However if you insist on having both gluten-free and regular dishes sametime, the effort required will be doubled, hence the charge will also be doubled.

Terms and conditions
- Changes in the number of participants are allowed up to three days before the reservation date..
- Admittance is only granted with a prior appointment.
- A prepayment is mandatory to confirm your booking. Failure to make payment by the due date (four days before the booking date) will result in automatic cancellation.
- Cancellations must be made at least four days in advance.
- Free cancellation is permitted up to four days before the reservation date.
- Regarding changes in the number of participants, prices cannot be adjusted within 3 days of the reservation date due to ingredient preparation and a customized schedule. If you have a missing member, take a replacement person is recommended.
- Cancellation within 3 days of the reservation date incurs the following charges:
3 days before of the reservation date: 30% of the total invoice price
2 days before of the reservation date: 50% of the total invoice price
1 day before of the reservation date: 100% of the total invoice price.
Day the reservation date: 100% of the total invoice price.
- Last-minute cancellations, regardless of the reason, will not be refunded. Rescheduling requires a payment ranging from 80% to 100% of the invoice amount due to the inability to store purchased ingredients and the significant effort invested in preparation.

EN: Manga drawing is not a kid's play; it's Art. With a required concentration span of one hour, the minimum age for participation is 10 years old.

Japanese meal or dessert with Manga workshop is available. Not only participants but a parent who wait for his/her child can also order a meal. Would you like to organize authentic Japanese workshops on your location? For school, shop, events, company party, team-building, demonstration, family day, festival etc.
(The price for workshop on location is in unit price of 10 people. because in a large group or events, it is difficult to predict the exact number of participants beforehand, and often some people absent in last minutes.)

Basic conditions

EN:
- The workshop at your location is available from 10 participants.
- The minimum booking hours are a total of 2 hours.
- The numbers of participants are based on Unit price (10 each).
- Travel expenses (from Utrecht) and travel time fees (if more than 1-hour travel) are required separately.
- cooking workshops require preparation times for ingredients.
- If you want a workshop at your location for under 10 people, the price will be the same as the price of 10 people.
- Changes in the number of participants can be communicated up to seven working days before the event date. After that, changes in the number of participants are no longer possible in connection with the purchase of the ingredients/stuff. The invoice will then be based on the number of participants known at that time. It is not possible for last-minute changes.
- Workshops on location require pre-paid due to the purchase of materials/ingredients because of 2 or 3 negative experiences in the past about problem customers. Following are examples of when I didn't ask for prepaid.
-- One Organization asked me to give a workshop. They suddenly cancelled the workshop on the scheduled date when I was on the way to their place.
-- One organisation asked me to give a bento workshop for 30 people. The person in charge was irresponsible and they didn't pay the fee almost for 9 months.
-- One party asked me to give a workshop at their place. They asked for discounts and were unwilling to pay the invoiced prices.

NL: 
- De workshop op jouw locatie is beschikbaar vanaf 10 deelnemers.
- De minimale boekingsuren zijn in totaal 2 uur.
- Het aantal deelnemers is gebaseerd op Eenheidsprijs (elk 10).
- Reiskosten (vanuit Utrecht) en reistijdvergoedingen (bij meer dan 1 uur reizen) zijn apart verplicht.
- Voor kookworkshops zijn de voorbereidingskosten voor ingrediënten vereist.
- Wil je een workshop bij jou op locatie voor minder dan 10 personen, dan is de prijs gelijk aan de prijs van 10 personen.
- Wijzigingen in het aantal deelnemers kunnen tot uiterlijk zeven werkdagen voor de eventdatum worden doorgegeven. Daarna zijn wijzigingen in het aantal deelnemers niet meer mogelijk in verband met de inkoop van de ingrediënten/spullen. De factuur zal dan gebaseerd zijn op het op het op dat moment bekende aantal deelnemers. Het is niet meer mogelijk om nog last minute wijzigingen of workshops toe te voegen.
- Workshops op locatie zijn "pre-paid" ivm de inkoop van materialen/ingrediënten en vanwege 2 of 3 negatieve ervaringen in het verleden met gedoe met andere bedrijven over betaling van een factuur.
